I have to say, after the entire Jaclyn Hill fiasco with BECCA, I was hesitant to pick this up…
Being a bit gun-shy I didn’t rush to the store to purchase, but when my recent Sephora haul was delivered, this was the first thing I plucked out of the box. Backstory for those of you who may not live on social media: BECCA collaborated with supermodel Chrissy Teigen (yes, John Legend’s wife and someone we all want to be friends with) to create the warm and summery shades, said to give you a model glow. The result? A limited-edition BECCA X Chrissy Teigen Glow Face Palette. And boy oh boy, all of me loves all of this palette – too cheesy? 🙂

Chrissy Teigen, known for her fashion sense, wittiness, and her impeccable taste in makeup, selected all the shades herself. While there are some similarities to the JH Champagne Glow face palette, I think the shades offered in this set are way more universally flattering. If you want to emulate the “endless summer glow” Chrissy often radiates, you’ll find all you need encased in this charming little pink and orange marbled patterned palette. The hefty square shaped packaging gives a “luxe” feel and pleases my slight OCD, as it fits nicely in my vanity set up.
The sulfate-free palette contains four fabulous cheek shades – two skin perfectors, a blush and a bronzer – so yes, a few shades less than the JH collab, but I’m perfectly ok with that. It retails for $46 USD / $54 CAD and can be found at a variety of retailers including Sephora, Ulta and QVC.

In the palette, you will find:
Shimmering Skin Perfector™ Pressed in Rose Gold — subtle gold infused with sweet rose (Permanent Shade)
Shimmering Skin Perfector™ Pressed in Beach Nectar — juicy apricot infused with gold
Luminous Blush in Hibiscus Bloom — pink coral blush w/ golden reflects
Sunlit Bronzer in Malibu Soleil — medium amber brown (Permanent Shade)
Now, I am pale – like NC10/15 pale. So I was a bit scared of the blush and bronzer at first. Light hand with both proved to be the solution for both, as they are buildable. The bronzer did come out a bit orange on my arm, but on top of foundation it more closely matched the color in the pan. The blush looked intimidating, but a light hand served me well and the formula was not glittery at all.
Over all, the shades effortlessly blend together, layer on beautifully, and give you the endless summer glow. I found the JH collab was more gold/yellow gold focused, but I need a bit of warmth to my face in the summer! BECCA seems to have hit the mark with this well thought-out palette – the colors are finely milled and work so well together.
If you like hues of pink, peach, and coral with a little shimmer, you’ll love playing around with the BECCA X Chrissy Teigen Glow Face Palette. Master and perfect the radiant summer glow using the gorgeous shades. I certainly like this more than the Jaclyn Hill collab – sorry Hillsters!
